Tumbled Apache Tear Obsidian crystals, size 2 – 3 cm approx. Apache Tears appear to be black, but they are translucent when held up to the light, making them a shapeshifting crystal.

Apache Tears has been used to comfort in times of grief. Metaphorically, it sheds tears for one in times of sorrow. A beautiful stone to share with someone who is grieving.
The Apache Tear has been traditionally considered one of the tears of Native American women, mourning for the warriors who were driven from a cliff by the cavalry. The women cried for a whole month, and the Great Spirit pressed their tears within the rock to form the crystals.
